Chapters are part of 2outube’s existing summary surface: a short overview, key points, timestamped chapters, and selected quotes can appear above the transcript. Clicking a chapter jumps the YouTube player to that moment.
For an archived video whose summary is ready, the chapters appear immediately. For a brand-new video, the transcript appears first and the summary job runs offline afterwards, so chapters usually arrive later rather than during the first page load.
This is a read-and-jump chapter view. It does not edit the creator’s YouTube description, publish chapters back to YouTube, or provide a dedicated chapter-file export.

Are the chapters generated on page load?
No. The Worker never calls the chapter model during a page visit. Chapters are generated once by an offline job and stored with the archived transcript.
How fast do chapters appear for a new video?
The transcript appears first. The offline summary and chapter job usually follows later, often within an hour, but it is not instant or guaranteed on the first visit.
Can I click a chapter to jump in the video?
Yes. Each available chapter has a timestamp that seeks the embedded YouTube player.
Can 2outube publish the chapters to my YouTube video?
No. It shows chapters on the 2outube transcript page and does not modify the original YouTube video or description.
Is the chapter view free?
Yes. Stored summaries and chapters are free to read with the transcript and need no account.
