What the tool actually does matters here: 2outube asks its transcript suppliers for English first. If an English track is unavailable, the supplier can fall back to the video’s first available caption track. On a Kannada-only video that may be Kannada; when English captions exist, the returned transcript may be English instead.
The text and timing come from the track the supplier returns. 2outube does not rewrite, translate, or correct it, so auto-caption errors and the video’s own caption availability carry through.

When will the transcript be in Kannada?
When the supplier returns a Kannada track. The tool requests English first and may receive the first available track when English is unavailable, so the result depends on that video’s caption tracks.
Will ಕನ್ನಡ characters be preserved?
Yes, when they are present in the returned caption track. 2outube passes the caption text through without transliterating it.
What if the video has no usable transcript?
If the transcript supplier returns no transcript for the video, 2outube has no text to show. Try another video or check the caption options on YouTube.
