Summarize a YouTube video with your AI.

2outube doesn’t summarize videos itself — it gets you the clean transcript, fast, so you can paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and ask for the summary you want.

Full transcript in seconds — searchable, timestamped, yours to keep.

Paste a video’s link, get the transcript, and hand it to whichever AI assistant you already have open. The transcript is the input; your AI does the summarizing, in whatever length or style you ask for.

The workflow
01

Paste the link

Drop the YouTube URL into 2outube (or swap the letter in the address bar) and open the transcript.

02

Copy the transcript

Select all, or download it as .txt or .md — whichever is easier to paste where you’re going.

03

Ask your AI to summarize it

Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any assistant, and ask for what you need — key points, a TL;DR, chapter breakdowns.

Why we don’t build a summarizer

Building one would mean picking one model, one style, and probably a login wall. Handing you the transcript instead means you keep whichever AI you already trust — no extra account, no model lock-in.

Questions, answered.

Does 2outube have a built-in AI summary?

No — 2outube gives you the transcript; you paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or whatever AI assistant you use, and ask it to summarize. That’s deliberate: no extra login, no model lock-in.

Will the summary be accurate?

That depends on your AI assistant, not on 2outube — we supply the raw transcript text it summarizes from.

Is there a length limit on the transcript I can paste?

Most chat assistants handle a full-length video transcript fine, but very long videos (multi-hour lectures, for example) may need to be split, or downloaded as a file and uploaded instead of pasted.

Do I need an account for any of this?

No — not on 2outube. Whichever AI assistant you use for the summary is a separate account you likely already have.

Can I download the transcript first and upload the file instead of pasting?

Yes — download it as .txt or .md and upload the file to your AI assistant if it supports file uploads.
